Tim Francis one of the finest and most respected commissaires in Australia was tragically killed in an accident involving his motor scooter and another motorcycle at Advancetown near the Gold Coast on Sunday 22nd April.
Tim was recently appointed as the chief Commissaire for the 2012 FKG Tour of Toowoomba. His wife, Robyn, Tim’s pillion passenger, who was also to officiate at this years Tour, is still in a critical condition following day-long surgery on Monday 23rd April.
Tim’s tragic death will leave an enormous gap within cycling circles at a local, state, national and international level. May he rest in peace.
